Price:  $50 includes clinic and entry fee at the September 18, 2024 Back to Basics CX Race

Description:  Join Bicycle Colorado, Amy D Foundation, Donovan Racing powered by AES and Head Coach US National Champion Anna Dorovskikh for a two part clinic and race experience at the Golden Cyclocross Course! You will learn invaluable riding skills and race prep lessons to improve your confidence and then apply what you’ve learned in a supportive environment.

Cyclocross:  Cyclocross is the most fun, most inclusive and arguably the best discipline in cycling. Cross races are generally short (25-60 minutes) and are very approachable for new riders. With lots of turns, dirt, barriers, cheering, support and camaraderie, ‘cross is a great way to spend time on a bicycle. 

Bring:  Cross, gravel or mountain bike.  Helmet, gloves, eye protection, comfortable bike clothes, water, sunscreen and snacks. 

Schedule:

Day 1 – Clinic – Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 9-Noon – Cyclocross Clinic with Head Coach xxx. Learn the skills for cross that will also make you a safer and better bike rider.

Day 2 – Race – Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 3 to 6 pm – at the Back to Basic CX race. You’ll be racing for 25 minutes in the Women’s Newbie group, applying the skills that you learned and being cheered on by the other racers.
