DESCRIPTION:Inspire Juniors Rec MTB Summer Camps\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThese are camps that are a sampler of the Inspire Juniors Recreational Mountain Bike Program. We will be riding Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.\, exploring the trails in the Castle Rock area and learning basic mountain biking skills. We also teach trail etiquette and usage. Skills to be covered include beginning and advanced shifting and braking techniques\, body positioning and balance\, and turn management. \nThere will be two sessions\, one in June and one in July. \nRiders need a working mountain bike with gears and a bicycle helmet. Closed-toe shoes are required. Riders are required to bring their own hydration (water bottle) and provide a snack. Gloves and bike shorts are recommended. Sunscreen is advised.

SUMMARY:Frying Pan Road Race
DESCRIPTION:Course Description: Both the short and long course share the same first 13 miles. From the start approximately 1.5 miles up Frying Pan Road from Basalt\, the course heads east up the Frying Pan Road past Ruedi Reservoir to the high point above the reservoir at mile marker 17. \n  \nShort Course: Short course categories will turn around at mile marker 17 (where indicated by a marker/Marshal) and reverse course to the finish line near mile marker 4 (about 2 miles up from the start line). Race distance for this group is about 28 miles. \n  \nLong Course: From the high point above the reservoir the long course categories will continue east on the Frying Pan Road to the Norrie Colony (about 25 miles from the start) where they will reverse course and ride to finish line near mile marker 4 (about 2 miles up from the start line). There will be a Marshal or marker at the turnaround point. For these three groups\, the race features approximately 48 miles of racing and 3\,000 feet of climbing.
