DESCRIPTION:San Juan Gravel Classic – Ridgway\, CO\nJuly 25\, 2026 \nThe San Juan Gravel Classic is a fully supported gravel ride through the wide-open backroads of rugged Ouray County\, with quiet roads\, huge views\, and fantastic cycling. Choose a 22-mile cruise with about 1\,500 feet of gentle climbing or step up to the 44-mile route with over 4\,300 feet of gain\, including a 5-mile butt kicker near the final ‘peach-smoothy’ aid station! \nIt’s not a race – just a solid day in the saddle in one of Colorado’s most spectacular landscapes. The ride starts and finishes in quaint Ridgway\, with aid stations along the way and a laid-back post-ride gathering with live music\, food\, and a cold beer. \nEvery mile supports the Ouray Advocates for Kids Foundation (OAK)\, funding local programs for kids and families in Ouray County.
