DESCRIPTION:Advanced Camp\n\n\nJune 21-26 \nJoin us for an immersive week of mountain bike cross-country racing development in the high-altitude paradise of Gunnison\, Colorado. This comprehensive training camp is designed for expert-level\, dedicated junior XC racers looking to elevate every aspect of their racing craft.\n\nFor expert-level high school students aged 14-18 years old.\n6 days and 5 nights of MTB skills and adventures.\nStudents will stay on the campus of Western Colorado University.\n3 meals a day will be provided by the cafeteria services on campus\n$1149\nStay longer to compete in Junior Bike Week races in Crested Butte (June 26-28 weekend).

SUMMARY:Valmont Short Track Series
DESCRIPTION:Fun low-key grassroots mountain bike races open to the public. Held every Wednesday evening in May and June. The course changes every week\, but is typically a 1-mile lap and most races are 4-5 laps\, or about 25 minutes. The races are broken into several categories to choose from. Register at the venue on race day.

SUMMARY:Summit Mountain Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Summit Mountain Challenge Mountain Bike Series was acquired from the legendary Jeff Wescott (Westy) of Maverick Sports Promotions in 2021. Breckenridge Recreation continues to aspire to Westy’s goal: to create community through fun\, affordable\, well-organized athletic events. Racers must participate in 5 of 6 of the same courses (long\, short\, kids) to be eligible for the series overall winner. \n\nFrisco Round Up 5/27\nTour De French Gulch 6/10\nPeaks Trail Time Trial 6/24\nAspen Attack 7/22\nSwan River Rampage 8/5\nSummit Classic 8/15\n\nPLEASE NOTE: In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen trail conditions\, the race director reserves the right to delay\, cancel or reschedule the race.
