DESCRIPTION:Old Man Winter Bike Rally & Run is a must-do Colorado endurance festival with mixed terrain adventures for all levels of riders and runners. \nTheir 23 mile\, 40 mile\, and 75 bike courses include some of Boulder County’s best gravel and paved roads. The legendary 75 mile course adds in canyons and snowy single track.  \nRunning courses include a 5K\, 10K\, or half marathon tour of Lyons\, CO. The scenic 10K can be combined with the 40 mile bike course for a wintry multi-sport challenge. All participants are supported with well-stocked aid stations\, a hot meal\, cold beer\, and great winter swag! \nThe running and riding community comes together for a big after party with live music\, bonfires\, hot food\, cold beers\, s’mores\, and a huge expo.

SUMMARY:FoCo Fondo x Zwift Winter Indoor Training Series p/b caveworks
DESCRIPTION:Series Overview:\n• The FoCo Fondo x Zwift Winter Training Series runs January 1st through March 8th\, 2026.\n• 60-75 minute progressive interval workouts will run Tuesdays & Thursdays at 7 am\, 12 pm\, or 5:30 pm MT.\n• Sundays at 9 am MT: 120 min group ride.\n• Sunday group ride description: Take the first 20 minutes at 1.5-2.0 w/kg. Keep it together and warm up for the first 20 minutes\, don’t go over 2.0 w/kg. After 20 minutes\, we’ll take it up to less than or equal to 3w/kg\, but feel free to go for the sprints. Re-group after any segments back to the largest lead group. Let people get back in the group. After the first 60 minutes\, the ride is open. Feel free to stay together\, rotate\, try and break away or go for segments\, open riding from hour 1-2. \n1. Join our Zwift Club here: https://www.zwift.com/clubs/172ebea9-6042-4b4a-b5f9-a220646d81dc/home\n2. Fill out this waiver to participate: https://tinyurl.com/fondowaiver\n3. Get your Zwift setup dialed. Riders will need an active Zwift account to participate. This Fort Collins brand makes a purpose-built indoor “bike” designed for your smart trainer so you can keep your fancy outdoor bike where it belongs—outside. The caveworks Rivet also lets you either customize your build with new parts\, or you can repurpose old parts you have lying around—the choice is yours. They will be joining us on a few of the Sunday group rides\, a perfect way to nerd out with them and ask questions from the creators themselves. \nThe series will finish just in time for our first IN-PERSON FoCo Fondo Training Ride in March (yay!)

DESCRIPTION:In January\, Bicycle Colorado and Obvio released a Driver Behavior Study. The study observed 196 intersections across 25 Colorado cities and counties during 30-minute windows. The study identified nearly 7\,900 violations among 49\,000 vehicles. \nJoin Bicycle Colorado for a virtual community meeting to learn more about the study and its impact on our work for safer bicycling in Colorado.
