The Winter Park Classics consists of the four races that capture our most popular routes from the classic courses that have been in use since the early days of the Winter Park Mountain Bike Series to reimagined classics\, there is something for everyone. \n\nThis local’s favorite has become one of our Classics. Riders start at the base of Winter Park Resort leading onto our local trails in the extensive Winter Park/Fraser Valley trail system. It concludes in the nearby town of Fraser. Awards will take place at Vicious Cycle Brewery in Fraser\, CO following the event.  Please note that this is different than in years past. \n\nFrom junior riders up to professional racers\, we have a category that suits everyone – even if it’s your first race! We pride ourselves on offering a welcoming\, fun race series for anyone who wants to get out and ride. For the professional rider\, we offer a competitive professional rider purse for the top three men and top three women in each category. The Winter Park race series has included such legends as John Tomac\, Ned Overend\, Tinker Juarez\, Juli Furtado\, and David Wiens as well as the next generation of legends: Madigan Munro (Trek Factory Racing)\, Riley Amos (Trek Factory Racing)\, and Bjorn Riley (Trek Future Racing).

SUMMARY:Avout Racing 2026 Inspire juniors Rec MTB Summer Camps
DESCRIPTION:Inspire Juniors Rec MTB Summer Camps\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThese are camps that are a sampler of the Inspire Juniors Recreational Mountain Bike Program. We will be riding Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.\, exploring the trails in the Castle Rock area and learning basic mountain biking skills. We also teach trail etiquette and usage. Skills to be covered include beginning and advanced shifting and braking techniques\, body positioning and balance\, and turn management. \nThere will be two sessions\, one in June and one in July. \nRiders need a working mountain bike with gears and a bicycle helmet. Closed-toe shoes are required. Riders are required to bring their own hydration (water bottle) and provide a snack. Gloves and bike shorts are recommended. Sunscreen is advised.

DESCRIPTION:The Summit Mountain Challenge Mountain Bike Series was acquired from the legendary Jeff Wescott (Westy) of Maverick Sports Promotions in 2021. Breckenridge Recreation continues to aspire to Westy’s goal: to create community through fun\, affordable\, well-organized athletic events. Racers must participate in 5 of 6 of the same courses (long\, short\, kids) to be eligible for the series overall winner. \nPLEASE NOTE: In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen trail conditions\, the race director reserves the right to delay\, cancel or reschedule the race. There are no refunds in the event of a race cancellation or change.

DESCRIPTION:Course Description: All races start across Hwy 82 from the Brush Creek intercept lot. Follow Brush Creek Trail to Cozyline connector\, climb Cozyline to Skyline\, take Skyline to Deadline\, descend Deadline and turn right on Highline\, follow Highline to Hidden Valley Road. \n\nShort course finish: At the bottom of Highline racers will take a right on Hidden Valley Road and ride to finish line.\nLong Course finish: At the bottom of Highline racers will cross Hidden Valley Road and climb Viewline to the intersection with Deadline\, descend Deadline & Highline again\, then turn right on Hidden Valley Road and ride to the finish line.
