Our team of advocates, specializing in policy, education, and bike event support, amplifies the voices of our members and partners across Colorado to demand changes that expand access to safe biking and walking.
James describes himself as a curious voyager by bike. Whether exploring urban streets, commuting, or touring the solitude of backcountry routes, riding bikes is deeply rooted in his core being. With a background in public safety and emergency services, he strives to share his years of bicycling experience to encourage and help people safely embrace their own love of riding.

With the support of our members and partners in the public and private sectors, Bicycle Colorado has been advocating to expand access to safe biking and walking since 1992. Our team focuses on securing funding for bike and pedestrian infrastructure, passing laws and policies protecting bicyclists and pedestrians, and equipping people with the knowledge and skills to safely use roads, bike lanes, and paths.
