The San Juan Gravel Classic is a fully supported gravel ride through the wide-open backroads of rugged Ouray County, with quiet roads, huge views, and fantastic cycling. Choose a 22-mile cruise with about 1,500 feet of gentle climbing or step up to the 44-mile route with over 4,300 feet of gain, including a 5-mile butt kicker near the final ‘peach-smoothy’ aid station!

It’s not a race – just a solid day in the saddle in one of Colorado’s most spectacular landscapes. The ride starts and finishes in quaint Ridgway, with aid stations along the way and a laid-back post-ride gathering with live music, food, and a cold beer.

Every mile supports the Ouray Advocates for Kids Foundation (OAK), funding local programs for kids and families in Ouray County.
