Event Support Program

Bicycle Colorado’s Event Support Program was created to support event directors across the state. We help Colorado cycling events to be safe, inclusive, and sustainable.

In this role, we:

• Host and share our Comprehensive Event Calendar as a service to the cycling community.
• Promote events to an engaged audience of bicyclists through Event Memberships.
• Build connections with host communities, insurance providers, law enforcement, permitting agencies, and municipalities.
• Provide access to the Race Kit. This race kit, located in Lafayette, is available to Bicycle Colorado member clubs at very reasonable prices. The kit is full of equipment needed to put on a safe and successful event.
• Conduct legislative and advocacy work on behalf of events. Safety is crucial to the long-term success and sustainability of cycling events.
