Colorado offers a variety of bicycle racing events, with over 400 held each year. These include mountain bike cross country and enduro, gravel races, gran fondos, BMX, criteriums, hill climbs, road races, time trials, cyclocross, and track racing at two active velodromes. Some events are sanctioned by USA Cycling, the sport’s national governing body, and require either an annual or one-day racing membership. Many other events are non-sanctioned and do not require a special membership.
Colorado is home to two incredible velodromes, in Boulder and Colorado Springs.

Clubs and teams are the core of the cycling community.

Cycling is a fun and accessible sport that offers a great way to stay fit and challenge yourself. Plus, it’s a sport for all ages and skill levels.

We build meaningful connections between events, cycling clubs, and key stakeholders like host communities, permitting agencies, CDOT, and law enforcement.

We advocate for safer places to train and race. Bike safety is vital to the long-term success of bike events in Colorado.
